Presenting the L78M24ABDT-TR, a member of the L78M series of three-terminal positive regulators. Housed in TO-220, TO-220FP, DPAK, and IPAK packages with various fixed output voltages, this regulator is well-suited for a wide array of applications. Its ability to provide local on-card regulation overcomes distribution challenges associated with single point regulation. Additionally, internal current limiting, thermal shutdown, and safe area protection features make it virtually indestructible, ensuring reliability. When coupled with adequate heat sinking, it can deliver over 0.5A output current to meet demanding power supply requirements. While primarily designed as fixed voltage regulators, these devices offer the flexibility to be used with external components for adjustable voltage and currents
