With the NCP5322A two-phase step-down controller, powering high-performance processors and high current power supplies has never been easier. Its state-of-the-art multi-phase architecture ensures a well-balanced load current distribution, ultimately lowering overall solution costs in high current applications. The Enhanced V^2™ control architecture of the NCP5322A guarantees the quickest possible transient response, outstanding regulation, and enhanced user-friendliness. By integrating traditional Enhanced V^2™ with an internal PWM ramp and fast-feedback directly from V_CORE, this PWM controller delivers optimal transient response and reduces output voltage jitter. Furthermore, the multi-phase architecture significantly diminishes output voltage and input current ripple, enabling a notable reduction in filter size and inductor values. This innovative approach also results in reduced input and output capacitor requirements, along with a smaller solution size and cost savings
